Hello Quilters! This past year, we’ve enjoyed so many quilting events that I don’t know where to begin! In October of 2025, we enjoyed attending a quilt show in Houston, Texas and the graciousness of our hosts for our stay. In January of 2026, we joined a new group of quilters at a Retreat near the Virginia/West Virginia Line. I met many fun loving ladies there, and look forward to getting together with them again for years to come! I brought a quilt to work on to that event that is now in line for quilting, as soon as I get a chance. In April of 2026, I attended a wonderful Retreat at Bittersweet Retreat Center in Boscawen, NH and enjoyed being in a new place with old and dear friends. A good time was had by all! This month, I am getting so inspired by new fabrics and having so many quilting ideas that sometimes it feels like I can’t find my computer! I’m sure all of my quilting friends know the feeling! Celeste Manning, owner of Country Lane Quilter, has been an avid quilter for more than 20 years. Her 40+ years of sewing experience began, as a child, with her family & 4-H.
Country Lane Quilter was a New Hampshire business from 2005 to 2019, when Celeste and her quilting business relocated to Appomatox, Virginia.
Country Lane Quilter specializes in quilt finishing, and offers freehand or computerized quilting patterns to complete any size quilt.
In addition to machine quilting, Celeste offers custom sewing services such as complete quilt construction, home décor, garments and instruction.
